We have news: Mariia Baranova is our new Chief Operating Officer. And the route she took to the role says a lot about where NuxGame is heading. Mariia spent her years with us on the client side of the business: she led account management and built a service that operators have rated 4.8 out of 5 over the past six months. Now she runs operations across the whole company.
The logic behind the choice is simple. Over the years, NuxGame has turned from an iGaming software provider into an open ecosystem for operator growth — and an ecosystem has far more moving parts than a product. Somebody has to make them run as one, at scale. That job went to the person who had already done it once, with the department closest to clients.
As COO, Mariia takes on all of it: processes that work the same way in every team, decisions made on data instead of gut feeling, and AI doing the boring work so people don’t have to. Operators will feel the change directly: the roadmap makes client reporting even faster, with clear SLAs clients can track.
Our next stage is about turning progress into a scalable, data-driven, and predictable organization, one that grows faster without losing quality, transparency, or control. That is operational work, and Mariia is among the best operational minds I know. She sees the whole system where others see a list of tasks. And she got here the rarest way possible: by always being completely herself — direct, honest, and bold in a very smart, valuable way.
