TOP 5 worldwide iGaming conferences

NuxGame Editorial
10 February 2022

When we are talking about the development and expansion of the iGaming business, it is hard to underestimate the importance of cooperation between various players within the industry. Just like it is happening in any other modern business, the lion’s share of communication between software providers, operators, and affiliates is happening online. However, live events like iGaming conferences have a crucial role in establishing communication between businesses or for the promotion of brand products and services.

Today, the iGaming business is growing fast, providing many new opportunities for both big well-established brands and startups. As the new players enter the gaming business and the inflow of investments increases, the importance of real-life conferences grows as well. In the present blog, we wanted to talk about major iGaming conferences where all the most influential iGaming players and ambitious startups present their products and search for beneficial business opportunities and collaborations.

1. SiGMA (Asia, CIS, Americas, Europe, Africa)

SiGMA is an international event-planning company that is responsible for the organization of annual international iGaming conferences. Currently, SiGMA manages 5 annual iGaming conferences - in Europe, Asia, Africa, the Americas, and CIS countries. Each of the events gathers many iGaming B2B and B2C brands that are looking for opportunities for their business. The conference is attended by gaming providers, live casino operators, providers of iGaming platforms and solutions, affiliates, media resources, and, of course, online casino and sportsbook operators.

2. ICE London

ICE London is an annual iGaming exhibition that brings together some of the biggest international brands and some of the most ambitious entrepreneurs in the field. Also, ICE London serves as a platform for the discussion of the current iGaming events, changes in regulation, investments, finance in iGaming, marketing, operations, and other important issues. Whether you are a software provider or a brand operator, ICE London is an excellent opportunity to get in touch with potential partners face-to-face.

3. iGB Live

iGB Live is an annual iGaming conference that takes place in Amsterdam. The event is organized and supported by one of the most influential media voices in the iGaming industry - iGaming Business magazine. This conference is widely attended by businesses of any kind and scale: iGaming providers, casino operators, sportsbetting brands, game developers, investors, and entrepreneurs. And if you are working as an affiliate in the iGaming industry, iGB provides you a unique opportunity to take part in one of the biggest events for affiliates - iGB Affiliate Amsterdam, which also takes place in Amsterdam for several months after iGB Live.

4. G2E Asia (Global Gaming Expo)

G2E Asia is one of the biggest and one of the most important exhibitions in the Asian region that has been taking place since 2007. Initially, G2E was an event for iGaming businesses operating in North America. The conference was held in Las Vegas and was supported by American Gaming Association (AGA). However, as the Asian market started to swell, the demand for a local conference that might become a venue for Asian providers emerged.  G2E Asia takes place in the world’s biggest land-based casino - Venetian Macao. The conference usually features various segments  - “Security and Surveillance”, “Health and hygiene”, “Parts and components”, “Smart IR and Innovation”, “Game Development”, “eSports”, “Lottery”, etc.

5. SBC Summit North America

The annual SBC (Sports Betting Community) summit was created as a venue for iGaming business based on the North American continent. SBC itself has close ties with North American iGaming business as a member of the American Gaming Association, Canadian Gaming Association, National Indian Gaming Associations, and Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers. These relationships between associations allow bringing together all the major players who represent American, American Indian, and Canadian iGaming business. The annual summit is attended by some of the biggest casino players in the North American region.

Closing Thoughts

Of course, the current blog is an overview of the most significant iGaming events, and it does not enlist many other conferences and exhibitions of a smaller scale. As the online casino and betting industry grows bigger yearly, new local events pop up here and there while the biggest venues become even bigger. So it will be hard to list all the meaningful and relevant ones in one place.

Such live events are essential for the popularization of your brand, your products, solutions or services that your company provides favorable conditions for building a dialog between providers, operators, media resources and pretty much anyone who works in iGaming.
